Job summary

Parametric PBC is building autonomous laundromats and is seeking a Robot Data Operator to own data processes that improve robot performance. The role is on-site in San Francisco, hourly, with at least three workdays per week and a starting rate of $30/hr.

Visa sponsorship is not available at this time. You will work hands-on with our robots, collaborate with engineers, and help shape the product by testing new features, collecting training data, and defining gold standards for task execution.

About Us

Parametric builds autonomous physical businesses. We're starting with a laundromat, designed from the ground up for autonomy. Dirty laundry in, folded clean laundry out. Rather than retrofit human workflows with robots, we redesign processes with robots as first class citizens.

About The Role

As a Robot Data Operator, you’ll own the processes directly responsible for improving robot performance. You'll work hands‑on with our robots to efficiently complete tasks and work with engineers to improve our robots.

This is a flexible, hourly role on‑site in San Francisco with an expectation of at least three work days per week. Compensation starts at $30/hr. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

This role also provides an opportunity for growth into management positions.

What You’ll Do

• Collect high-quality training data by performing tasks exactly as they should be done, then capturing that process so our robots can learn from it
• Define the gold standard for how tasks should be executed
• Work directly with customers to figure out what they need and translate their requirements into actionable processes
• Get your hands on cutting‑edge hardware and software before anyone else, testing new features and helping shape the product
• Review feedback, iterate on your approach, and continuously improve how we collect data
• Keep stakeholders updated, document your processes, and collaborate across teams to move fast
