Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy vehicles and power tools.
• Experience with manual outdoor maintenance tasks.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Snow and ice clearance by plowing and applying chlorides and salt.
• Perform highway maintenance tasks including winter maintenance, hauling materials by truck, mowing, erecting and dismantling snow fence, and landscaping.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain shop and office custodial duties.
• Be subject to call for winter snow removal and emergencies.
• Maintain records and reports.
