Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Kentucky PE license.
• 10+ years’ experience in roadway/transportation.
• Existing relationships with Louisville transportation agencies (KYTC, Louisville DPW, DOMI).
• Knowledge of KYTC plan delivery, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with MPOs and local agencies.
• Proven ability to develop and oversee project scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Mentoring skills for engineers at various career stages.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation (Openroads).
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
• Leadership qualities and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage roadway/transportation projects, including design, analysis, survey, environmental, zoning, permitting, and field services.
• Provide technical oversight, ensuring quality and risk management.
• Develop client relationships, identify opportunities, and support proposal efforts.
• Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance industry success.
• Oversee project administration, tracking KPIs, scope, budget, and quality standards.
