The Technician supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of roadway electrical infrastructure including traffic signals, highway lighting, ITS systems, and underground conduit systems. This role works under the direction of a Foreman or Licensed Electrician and is responsible for executing field tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) standards. Technicians are hands-on contributors who play a key role in project execution while developing trade skills in both electrical and civil aspects of roadway infrastructure construction.
