ACME BARRICADES is hiring a Highway Sign Installer to create and install roadway signs, repair and install traffic signs and pavement markings on highways and bridges. This role requires reading plans, transporting materials, cutting to size, and installing signs with safety-compliant methods.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years highway sign installation or related industry experience.
• MOT Advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Transport materials, tools and equipment to/from installation sites.
• Cut materials to specified sizes using power tools.
• Assemble and install signs adjacent to high-volume roadways using pneumatic tools and equipment; ensure proper location.
• Drive a vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Operate hand/power tools and maintain safety procedures.
• Set up traffic control if required.
• Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Comply with safety guidelines and company standards.
