ACME BARRICADES seeks a Highway Sign Installer to read plans, transport and install roadway signs, and perform related tasks on highways and other roadways. The role requires reading plans, using power tools, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years highway sign installation experience
• MOT Advanced certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate power tools safely
• Ability to read highway plans and MOT signs

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
• Transport materials, tools and equipment to installation sites
• Cut materials to specified sizes using power tools
• Assemble and install signs near high-traffic roadways
• Drive and operate vehicles safely
• Set up traffic control as required
• Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
• Perform other duties as assigned
