Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC in the United States is seeking a Highway Sign Installer to join our safety‑focused team. You will install, repair, and maintain roadway signs and delineation devices on state and county routes under the crew lead, operate hand and power tools, and assist with inventory and emergency response as needed.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Traffic Control Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification.
• Willingness to learn highway sign installation, maintenance, and traffic control practices.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, trucks, and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace roadway signs, posts, and delineators.
• Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, ratchets, and chainsaws.
• Safely operate assigned flatbed trucks and equipment to transport materials to job sites.
• Construct and repair barricades and traffic control devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of signs, posts, and related materials.
• Assist with emergency response efforts, including nights and weekends when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
