Job summary

DRMP is seeking a Roadway Project Manager to lead FDOT roadway design projects for county and municipal clients in Florida. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with standards, and drive project success from concept to completion in a fast-paced transportation environment.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), a Florida PE license, and 10+ years of roadway design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines while delivering multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Manager for FDOT roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with FDOT and local agency standards.
• Lead the Project Team of engineers and designers for roadway plans development.
• Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, technical staff, and managers to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers to develop future PMs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support business growth and project opportunities.
• Support business development, including proposal writing and client presentations for FDOT projects.

What you bring:
