Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as lead worker overseeing highway maintenance crews.
• OR 2 years as Highway Maintenance Worker III in Nevada State service.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work; purchase materials and equipment.
• Assign tasks and supervise a crew; monitor performance.
• Review blueprints and plans; ensure compliance with specs.
• Oversee lighting, striping, landscaping, and maintenance programs.
• Respond to emergencies; act as incident commander when needed.
