Job summary

Alpha Paving Industries is seeking a dependable Striping Crew Laborer to support pavement marking projects on roadways and parking lots. You will assist with layout, painting, and site preparation while following safety guidelines and supervising directions from the Foreman.

The role requires lifting 50-75 lbs, working outdoors in varying weather, and willingness to travel overnight when needed. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential as part of a hands-on crew environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and inclement weather.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and preparation of work areas for striping, including measuring and chalk lining.
• Load, unload, and organize paint, thermoplastic materials, stencils, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and support striping machinery under supervision.
• Mask and protect surfaces that do not require markings.
• Apply paint or thermoplastic material using sprayers, hand liners, or other tools as directed.
• Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure safe work zones.
• Perform cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site at the end of each shift.
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and communicate effectively with team members.
• Wear proper PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
