Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting designer to join our transportation team. You will design intersections and lighting layouts, prepare drawings, estimates, specifications and tender documents in AutoCAD and Microstation, and support field activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Traffic/Civil Engineering, 3 years' relevant experience, and eligibility for the P. Eng. designation in Ontario. Collaboration with utilities and regulatory bodies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Traffic/Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in intersection/traffic signal design.
• Eligibility for the P. Eng. designation in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Design traffic signal/intersection and roadway illumination projects.
• Coordinate with utilities and road authorities on technical fronts.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, specifications and reports.
• Ensure deliverables comply with QA/QC programs and standards.
• Support field activities including commissioning and site inspections.
