Job summary

Montgomery County, Tennessee is seeking an Equipment Operator to maintain right-of-ways for county roads and to deliver materials to designated sites. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a CDL A or B, at least a high school diploma, and one year of related experience.

You will operate light and some heavy equipment, perform roadside maintenance, and support asphalt patching and drainage work. The position is full-time with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance or light equipment operation experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operates light equipment such as mower, tractor, mower trim, chipper, front-end loader and dump truck for roadsides and right-of-way maintenance.
• Drives trucks and equipment to transport materials to designated sites.
• Erects traffic signs near construction areas and assists with traffic control.
