Job summary

HDR is seeking a Roadway Intern in Atlanta, GA. You will gain hands-on experience on roadway and transportation projects while engaging with mentors and leaders from HDR's employee-owned culture.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program with at least 2 years completed and a 3.0+ GPA, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills and basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on exciting roadway and transportation projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed
