Qualifications

• Interns must be actively enrolled in an ABET-accredited civil engineering program.
• Sophomore year completed and enrolled in a 4-year college/university.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Preparing plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Gathering data for engineering/environmental reports and studies.
• Performing calculations related to geometrics, transportation engineering, and quantities.
• Using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Conducting field investigations and survey assistance to gather information.
• Documenting construction operations and attending meetings.
