We are currently seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our Midwest Transportation team. This can be a remote role for the right candidate, but prior experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Perform roadway design for ODOT projects (intersection improvements, roundabouts, roadway widening and realignment, interstate widening, and rehab, etc.)
  2. Develop project scopes/budgets
  3. Opportunity to develop relationships with clients to win new business
  4. Provide plan review and project management for clients
  5. Responsible for organizing activities, schedules, and reporting in support of assigned projects
  6. Travel will be required as needed
Minimum Requirements:
  1. A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering
  2. 4+ years of relevant work experience
  3. A valid driver’s license/clean MVR
  4. Engineer in Training (EIT)
Ideal Candidate Experience:
  1. Roadway design experience, specifically for ODOT projects using ORD
  2. ODOT plan development experience
  3. MOT design experience
  4. Drainage design experience
  5. Roundabout design experience
  6. A PE license in Ohio
