Egis, a leading international engineering firm, is seeking a Roadway EIT to join our Tennessee team in Knoxville. You will assist in designing freeways, interchanges, roadways, and related transportation infrastructure, contributing to plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, will obtain the EIT within 6 months, and has 1–4 years of roadway design experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• 1–4 years of roadway design experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design of freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, and other transportation-related infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.
• Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
• Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.
• Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.
