Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Roadway/Site Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and site development projects in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 2-4 years of experience.

This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, and includes comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant civil engineering experience focused on roadway or transportation design.
• Ability to obtain EIT certification within a defined timeframe.
• Familiar with roadway geometry, drainage design, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of roadway design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with project team members across multiple disciplines.
• Provide construction support services, including responding to RFIs.
