Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Highway/Roads EIT in Tucson, AZ to contribute to the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.

You will work on a team of project engineers, focusing on alignment, geometrics, drainage and construction estimates. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, plus proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD and familiarity with Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, InfraWorks and Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate is required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is expected.
• Familiarity with Bentley/Autodesk road design software is preferred.

In the role of Highway/Roads EIT, we'll count on you to:

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
