Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Roadway Field Inspector to join our Tennessee MEI Team. You will conduct condition assessments of roadway and drainage assets across Tennessee, documenting findings with descriptions and photos in a mobile app.

The role involves driving several hours daily, inspecting drainage assets on Interstates and State Routes, maintaining field equipment, and ensuring data accuracy to support maintenance planning and asset management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR report.
• Be physically fit, nimble and enjoy outdoor work; able to drive long distances and walk 4+ miles.
• Self-motivated, hardworking and organized; able to work alone and communicate with peers and office staff.
• Familiarity with technology, including mobile apps and network hotspots; detail oriented for data entry.
• Health and safety conscious in rough terrain and remote areas; navigate a laptop for office tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for email and HR related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend inspection manuals guiding programs supported.
• Conduct drainage asset condition assessments and enter data with photos into a mobile app.
• Locate assets using mobile tools; traverse slopes and clear vegetation for clear inspection photos.
• Drive several hours daily; travel arranged for inspections that cannot be completed otherwise; maintain field equipment.
