Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. invites students to join our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic) to contribute to roadway designs and project documentation. You will gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and industry tools.

They will work on rounds projects such as roundabouts, bridge replacements, urban and rural road improvements, under mentorship and collaborative teams in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil/Environmental/Construction/Land Survey or Structural Engineering with emphasis on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Bluebeam, OpenBridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge.
• Projects include roundabouts, bridge replacements/rehabilitations, urban and rural roads, and large interstate improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
