Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Roadway Engineering Intern to join our Raleigh team. This role supports our expanding roadway group alongside structural, planning, and traffic disciplines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BSCE in civil engineering with a foundational understanding of highway design and construction. You will gather project data, assist with design projects using OpenRoads Designer, prepare reports, and attend design team meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BSCE in civil engineering or related field.
• Foundational understanding of highway geometric design and construction.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and designers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Gather project data and perform routine calculations.
• Prepare and assemble reports and drawings.
• Assist with design projects utilizing OpenRoads Designer.
• Observe and attend meetings with design team and other project stakeholders.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
