Lochner, an Egis company, is recruiting for a Roadway Design Engineer (EIT) in Kansas City, KS. Civil Engineer EIT with 2 years of experience with transportation projects and managing KDOT and KTA design projects is required.

Your Impact

• Apply engineering knowledge to design freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation-related infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Use a methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate clearly through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
• Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• May conduct site investigations and other related responsibilities.
• Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.

Who You Are
