Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of roadway construction crews in Texas. You will guide teams, ensure safety, maintain quality, and drive project performance across plant locations and job sites.

The role requires leadership, CDL (preferred) and a track record in concrete or similar construction. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered within a large, diversified company.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Three to five years in increasing roles in concrete or similar construction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and personnel.
• Ability to supervise personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read maps and perform basic quantities calculations.
• Basic computer skills to operate batching and billing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and motivate personnel.
• Direct work at plant locations and job sites.
• Maintain quality assurance of the plant.
• Perform routine plant maintenance and manage expenditures.
• Control inventory and monitor equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and paperwork are completed.
• Review time cards and maintain attendance.
• Adhere to company policies and promote teamwork.
