Job summary

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a Ferrovial Group company in Texas, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to direct and manage construction tasks and subcontractor activities for the I-35 NEX Central Project in the San Antonio area. You will assist in coordinating construction activities, directing field crews to meet schedules, ordering materials, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance on site.

Minimum five years of progressive experience on highway/bridge projects is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive responsibility on similar construction projects.
• Experience on large highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality standards, and field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating construction activities.
• Assist directing field and subcontractor personnel to meet schedule and production goals.
• Assist in scheduling field personnel assignments.
• Assist in ordering materials.
• Inspect construction work as necessary.
• Ensure safety, quality compliance, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain an organized and safe job site.
