Preferred Materials - Asphalt, a CRH Americas Materials company in Florida, seeks a skilled Asphalt / Concrete Finisher to join the construction team in delivering high-quality surfaces for roads, sidewalks, curbs, and driveways. The role requires hands-on finishing of concrete and assisting with asphalt placement in outdoor environments.

Ideal candidates have experience reading plans, finishing concrete to grade, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience reading plans and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.
• Experience in asphalt paving or general construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications to perform concrete and asphalt work with precision.
• Form, pour, place, and finish concrete to grade with a fine finish.
• Assist with asphalt placement, raking, luting, and compaction as needed.
• Operate finishing tools and equipment such as floats, trowels, screeds, and hand tools.
