Job summary

Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Broom/Sweeper Operator for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL. The role involves operating a broom/sweeper on site to keep roads clear and support construction activities.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance checks, following safety procedures, and assisting with related tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of operating experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and adheres to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Broom/Sweeper to complete tasks such as removing debris including broken pavement, asphalt, or concrete, mud, and other construction materials.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• May perform other related duties as required.
