Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join its Transportation team in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure, including highways, interchanges, bridges, roads, and roundabouts.

You will support roadway and bridge design, drainage, and traffic control plans, prepare construction documents, and participate in client meetings and proposals. Strong CAD skills and familiarity with standards are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• 1–5+ years of experience on DOT, municipal, or county transportation projects.
• Experience in roadway and/or bridge design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation (OpenRoads, InRoads, or GEOPAK preferred).
• PE license or EIT in progress or eligible to obtain soon.
• Familiarity with local/state transportation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and production of DOT, turnpike, municipal, and county transportation projects
• Support the Project Manager with roadway design, bridge design, drainage, and traffic control plans
• Prepare construction documents and technical reports
• Participate in project proposals, interviews, and client presentations
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with stakeholders
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to production staff
• Manage multiple project assignments while meeting deadlines
