Job summary

FOXXSTEM DC LLC is a Washington, DC–based engineering and program management firm hiring Construction Engineering Inspectors with roadway and utility experience. We seek candidates with at least 3 years in related roles and a drive to support transportation projects in the region.

Inspectors will perform field inspections, oversee contractor QC operations, collect QA data, and report findings. Strong communication with clients and field teams is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of construction inspection or related field experience.
• Experience with roadway and/or utility projects.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections.
• Work on roadway and bridge projects within the region.
• Oversight of contractor's quality control operations.
• Quality Assurance sampling, testing and reporting.
• Data input from Daily Inspection Reports in preferred client software.
• Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel.
