Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking an on-site Tire Service Technician to respond to roadside and shop calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, balance, and repair tires across passenger, light and heavy-duty categories, diagnose tire issues, and perform light mechanical tasks as needed.

The role requires strong customer service skills, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires of various types.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and perform light mechanical repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear and proper inflation.
• Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain the service truck and equipment in safe condition.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication of service details.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
