Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Company in Salt Lake City is seeking an Outside Service Technician to perform roadside and on-site tire service for commercial vehicles, including after-hours on-call work. You will identify and inflate tires, balance wheels, mount/dismount, replace valve stems, and repair punctures.

The role requires maintaining service vehicles and tools, delivering excellent customer service, and upholding safety standards on every job.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 3–5 years of tire/maintenance experience.
• Driver’s license required; CTS certification and DOT/MSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside tire service on commercial vehicles, including after-hours on-call.
• Perform tire service on customer sites and inflate tires to correct size and ply.
• Mount/dismount wheels, balance tires, and replace valve stems.
• Repair punctured tires and maintain service vehicles and tools.
• Maintain professional customer relations and ensure safety at all times.
