The Roadside Technician is responsible for responding to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. When a customer experiences a tire failure, the technician is dispatched to repair or replace the tire on-site, often roadside. During times without service calls, technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties.
No experience is required; training will be provided. The position involves a mandatory on-call rotation, with after-hours service calls paid at double time, including a minimum of 2 hours per call. For example, completing a 45-minute call yields an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.
On-call shifts require running after-hours service calls with a high acceptance rate (95%).
