Starting Pay: $21.00 - $27.00/hr

Base pay may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The Roadside Technician role involves responding to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets by dispatching to customer locations to repair or change tires. This position requires roadside work. When not on service calls, technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties.

Experience is not required; training will be provided.

Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During this period, technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate. Calls during after-hours are paid double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call. For example, accepting and completing a 45-minute call results in an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes of double-time pay.

Basic Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• At least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous commercial service tire experience

Skills You Will Learn:

• Servicing commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting, and repairing various types of tires
• Performing match mounting, dual assembly mating, and radial runout correction
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI according to load requirements
• Following OSHA regulations and safety policies, including proper PPE use and tire cage procedures
