The starting pay for this position is $18.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The Roadside Technician role involves responding to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, often roadside. When not on service calls, duties include mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing the shop.

Experience is not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills.

Shift Information:

Mandatory on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate. Calls are paid double-time with a minimum of 2 hours pay; for example, a 45-minute call earns an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes of double-time pay.

Basic Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and meeting commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial tire service preferred.

Skills You Will Learn:

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing.
• Match mounting, dual assembly mating, and radial runout correction.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI based on load requirements.
• Following OSHA safety regulations, including proper PPE use and safety policies.
