Job Description

The Roadside Technician role involves responding to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires, primarily roadside. When not responding to service calls, technicians assist with mounting orders, shop cleaning, and other duties.

Qualifications

No experience required. Training will be provided.

Shift Details

Mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours service calls at a 95% acceptance rate. Calls during this time are paid at double time with a minimum of 2 hours pay, e.g., accepting, arriving, and completing a 45-minute call yields an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.

Basic Requirements

• Valid driver’s license meeting commercial driver qualifications
• At least 21 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with commercial tires

Role Skills & Training

• Servicing commercial tires: dismounting, mounting, repairing
• Match mounting, dual assemblies, radial runout
• Inflating tires to load-specific PSI
• Following OSHA safety regulations and PPE protocols
