Starting pay for the market: Up to $22 hourly

The Roadside Technician role involves responding to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, often roadside. When not on service calls, responsibilities include mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties as needed.

Experience is not required; training will be provided.

Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate. Calls are paid double-time, with a minimum of 2 hours pay per call. For example, accepting and completing a 45-minute call results in an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes of double-time pay.

Basic Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous commercial service tire experience

Skills You Will Learn:

  • Servicing commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting, and repairing
  • Match mounting, dual assembly mating, and radial runout correction
  • Inflating tires to prescribed PSI
  • Following OSHA safety regulations and policies
