**Starting pay for the market:** **$19.00 Hourly**

The role of the Roadside Technician in our company can be summarized as: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.” When a customer experiences a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the location to repair or change the tire. Technicians are expected to work roadside when performing their duties. During times without service calls, Technicians will assist with mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties as needed.

**Shift Information:** There is a **mandatory** on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls at a **95% Accept rate**, including weekends and nights. After-hours calls are paid at **double-time** with a minimum of 2 hours per call. For example, accepting, arriving, and completing a 45-minute call results in an **additional 1 hr. 15 min** of double-time pay.

**Basic Requirements:**

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

**What skills will you learn?**

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Following OSHA regulations and safety policies, including wearing proper PPE and using tire cages
