**Starting pay for the market:** $18.00/hr

The role of the Roadside Technician in our company can be summarized as: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.” When a customer experiences a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer's location to repair or replace the tire. This position requires being roadside during job duties. When there are no service calls, Technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning and organizing the shop, and other general tasks.

**Shift Information:** There is a **mandatory** on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service calls with a **95% acceptance rate**, including nights and weekends. Service calls during after-hours are paid at **double-time**, with a **minimum of 2 hours** per call. For example, accepting, arriving, and completing a 45-minute call results in an additional **1 hour 15 minutes** of double-time pay.

**Basic Requirements:**

• Valid driver’s license and compliance with commercial driver qualification requirements
• At least 21 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

**Skills You Will Learn:**

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing
• Performing match mounting, dual assembly matching, and radial runout correction
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI based on load requirements
• Following OSHA regulations and safety policies, including PPE use and tire cage procedures
