Starting pay for the market: $20 per hour
The Roadside Technician is responsible for responding to emergency tire failures for semi-truck fleets. The role involves dispatching to customer locations to repair or change tires, often roadside. When not attending to service calls, technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing the shop.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
No experience required; training provided. Skills learned include servicing commercial tires, performing match mounting, inflating tires to prescribed PSI, and adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Mandatory on-call rotation, including weekends and nights, with a 95% acceptance rate. Double-time pay for after-hours service calls, with a minimum of 2 hours per call.
