The role of the Roadside Technician in our company can be summarized as: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets”. When a customer experiences a tire failure, a Technician is dispatched to repair or replace the tire at the customer's location, meaning the Technician is roadside during their duties. When there are no service calls, Technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties as needed.

Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls with a 95% Accept rate, including weekends and nights. Calls are paid in double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call. For example, accepting, arriving, and completing a 45-minute call results in an additional 1 hr 15 min of double-time pay.
