Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking technicians to service commercial tires at our CTSC centers. Training is provided, with potential on-call rotation and after-hours responsibilities.

Starting pay is $21 per hour during training, increasing to $25 per hour for experienced technicians. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company matching, plus paid time off and discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout checks.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and wear PPE according to procedures.

Starting Pay: $21 Hourly (training provided) - $25.00 (experienced)

Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required.

Shift Information

This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends with a high rate of acceptance.

All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.

Basic Requirements
