Job Description

The County of Accomack is seeking applications for full-time Roadside Litter Crew Team Members, located within the Public Works Department. The position is responsible for helping maintain and preserve the beauty of our roads within Accomack County to ensure a safe and clean environment. The employees in this position may operate one or more types of vehicles and equipment to perform a variety of tasks, such as collection and disposal of roadside litter.

Minimum Qualifications

A desire to protect and preserve the natural beauty of our shore; One (1) year prior work experience in an outdoor setting. Preferred Qualifications include: two (2) to three (3) years of experience in outdoor-based facilities such as marinas, roadside upkeep; a valid driver’s license; satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and DMV records check.
