Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair heavy-duty truck equipment, often at customer locations, with travel required and supervision minimal.

Responsibilities include diagnostic repairs, driving to sites, maintaining safety standards, and documenting all steps. A Class A CDL and compliant MVR are required; willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Motor Vehicle Record must adhere to company guidelines.
• Trade school certificate is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/mechanical repairs on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components.
• Travels to customer locations to perform repairs and provide over-the-road assistance.
• Follow safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Communicate with Service Manager regarding parts not available for repairs.
• Maintain repair order closure rate and document troubleshooting steps and results.
• Ensure vehicle is stocked with required tools and parts for off-site repairs.
