Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to support our fleet customers. You will respond to roadside calls, mount and replace tires on commercial vehicles, and inspect tires and vehicles for additional issues.

This outdoor role works in all weather. You must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and handle overtime and night shifts. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks to support team operations.
