Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Material Handler in Irving, TX to support movement of materials and tools on construction sites. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient logistics, with opportunities to operate company vehicles and require a valid forklift certification.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Prior construction site experience is a plus and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (counting) required.
• English reading, writing, and comprehension required.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting Cycle Counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Drive company vehicles as qualified and required.
• Prepare order requests for job sites; assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Sort cargo during loading/unloading; label containers with information.
• Stock and log, clean, and maintain tools as necessary.
• Process various paperwork (packing slips, tool transfers).
• Track maintenance and repair of site vehicles; inform supervisor of needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S principles in the yard.
• Take direction from Site Logistics leadership to perform tasks with impact.
• Hold a valid forklift certification (CEC Training available).
• Communicate professionally with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Perform related duties to ensure efficient operations.
