Job summary

Siegmund Excavation, a CRH company, is a growing construction family with a long history dating back to 1974. We seek a General Laborer to safely perform a variety of on-site tasks supporting highway, utility, and grading crews across Salem, Oregon.

Wage is DOE; schedule is full time, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a national organization. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related experience in construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ground surfaces for the road building process; removes debris from the construction path.
• Operates ground compactors, levels dirt, and sets string markers for paving.
• Assists with setting up safety barriers, cones, and fencing around work areas.
• May operate paver, roller, or other equipment if trained.
