Job summary

Siegmund Excavation, a CRH company, is seeking a General Laborer to safely perform a variety of construction duties in Oregon and support highway, utility, and grade crews at multiple on-site plant locations.

The role involves manual tasks under supervision, with a culture of growth and internal promotion across the CRH family. DOE wage, full-time schedule, and comprehensive company benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondences and memos.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ground surfaces for road building and remove debris from the construction path.
• Operate ground compactors, level and rake dirt, set markers, and remove items to be paved.
• Set up fencing, barricades, and safety cones as needed.
• Assist with operating equipment if trained (paver, roller, backhoe, water truck).
• Perform other laborer duties such as cutting concrete or asphalt, sweeping, etc.
