What will your job look like?

The Road Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all fleet operations meet company standards and are in compliance with all governmental or regulatory standards. Oversee the appearance of each vehicle is maintained and assist in the efficient mechanical operation of the vehicles. Monitor all accident and injury investigations. Monitor comments and complaints of passengers regarding service, especially feedback regarding the safety of passengers.

Location: Pinal County

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee on time performance measures of drivers, monitor driving and safety practices of drivers daily

  • Assist Management/Operations with driver coaching and training

  • Attend driver and employee meetings as requested for job and safety information

  • Attend training and achieve professional certification as directed by management

  • Oversee fleet maintenance program (Vehicle registration/emissions/PMs/DVIR)

  • Respond and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenes in a timely manner

  • Investigate and assist with accident determination and road observations

  • Assist drivers with questions, customer assistance and overall on the road support

  • Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, battery jump starts, and lock outs

  • Assist Dispatch/Operations with information and complaint resolutions

  • Provide management with reports to assist with the evaluation of route and schedule effectiveness

  • Work with Operations in workforce management (Time off, backfilling, call offs)

  • Perform other duties, including dispatching, cleaning office and company vehicles, and maintaining storage yard, as requested

  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • Must be 25 years of age or older

  • Valid Arizona Driver's license

  • Minimum of 5 years driving history

  • No pending charges

  • No convicted felony charges in past 7 years

  • No DUI/DWI in past 5 years

  • Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation

  • Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening

  • Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation

  • Valid Authorization to work in the United States

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of accident investigation preferred

  • Knowledge of Safety and training practices and procedures

  • Ability to communicate, teach and mentor employees

  • Must be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills

  • Quick to process information, adjust, and/or make recommendations

  • Skills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications

Even better if you have...

  • Experience working in a supervisory role preferred

  • Knowledge of DOT/FTA Drug & Alcohol testing (post-accident, reasonable suspicion, & random testing) preferred

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
