Job description

JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a road mechanic to join our growing team! The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks, or forklifts. Forklift knowledge is a definite plus! After a training period, the applicant will be provided with a service van to go to customer locations to fix forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. We also provide a gas card, cell phone, and tablet for work-related travel and calls. The technician can go directly from home to the first customer job, without necessarily reporting to the main office daily. Experience with technology is a plus, as all hours and tasks are logged through a tablet. We are a family-owned business with 35 years of operation, offering excellent pay and benefits. Responsibilities

• Mobile field repairs
• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete required documentation, including work orders
• Keep job site/work area neat, clean, and organized
• Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
• Complete other tasks to support the service & repair department

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical experience
• A dedicated team player with a strong focus on customer service
• Self-motivated and professional
• Own tools (employer offers a tool allowance for some new tools)
• Valid driver’s license
