Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Texas is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment across a variety of makes in remote locations. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Sunbelt offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training to eligible employees. Base Pay Range: $22.85 - 31.41 Starting rate of pay may vary by location and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment
• Work on a variety of makes/models in challenging remote locations
• Support safety-focused operations and maintain uptime
