Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified class I train service engineer
  • 2+ years operating experience with train service or road foreman
  • PTC Qualified
  • Qualified on physical characteristics of territory
  • Experience in train or passenger service

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage locomotive engineers and conductors, including interviewing and onboarding
  • Oversee train operations and crew performance with Road Trainmaster
  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
  • Manage certification and training programs
  • Promote and enforce safety initiatives
  • Administer operational reporting and budget management
